The INL-HSE is designed for future
requirements of ICAO requesting a better visual guidance adapting for pilots during transit
between the high intensity light area of the runway and the medium intensity lights of the
taxiways.

The INL-HSE high speed exit inset
light is a bidirectional high intensity light (800cd) complying with ICAO recommendations in
Annex 14, Volume I, paragraphs 5.3.16, FAA L-852, STANAG 3316, CAP 168 and
BS 3224
standards.
- The light is equipped with one or two 45W 6,6
pre-focussed halogen dichroic reflector lamps.
- For bidirectional fittings the design allows separate lighting
in both approach directions.
- All external parts are made of anodised
tempered aluminium alloy casting and all fixings and fastenings are stainless
steel.
- The light has a outer diameter of 203mm (8") and its
projection is 12,7mm (1/2")
- The light can be installed directly on a 8" shallow base , on
a FAA-L868B deep base or seating ring
- Its design allows easy maintenance.
- The weight of the fitting is les than
2.8kg.
