The HBA
complies with ICAO recommendations Annex 14, Volume II, paragraphs 5.3.5 and heliport manual

The HBA power
supply is 230Vac
50/60Hz.
- The light is equipped with two pre focussed halogen
lamps 24Vac G6.35/15 of 250W.
- Remote control is possible in 230Vac.
- Monitoring is possible thanks to its two dedicated dry
contacts.
- For use in cold
and/or wet conditions, the unit can be equipped with an optional heat
resistor.
- Each optical bean comprises of two optical lenses, one green
dichroic filter, on red dichroic filter and one reflector made of pure aluminium
- The HBA should automatically Switch Off when 1) misalignment
greater than +/- 5ยบ (+/- 30 minutes) and failure of the flashing mechanism
.
- The body is mad of phosphated aluminium alloy painted in black
by an electrostatic process (powder coating)
- The cover and legs are made pf phosphated aluminium alloy
painted in aviation yellow by an electrostatic process (powder coating).
- All fixings and fastenings are of stainless steel.
- Site adjustment of the beam is made by means of a
clinometer.
- Main elements (lamp, reflector) are easily replaceable without
requiring the unit to be adjusted.
- Front lenses are protected against sand wind and engine blast
by a front glass.
