Flashing heliport beacon complies with ICAO recommendations in Annex 14, Volume II, paragraphs
5.3.2
and STNA standards.
- The light comprised of one omni directional white Flashing
head sub-assembly, one Power Supply box and an optional
photocell box. All three sub-assemblies are IP55 rated.
- The Flash head is equipped with a special Xenon flashing lamp
with a lamp life greater than 10,000 hours.
- Power supply 230Vac (50 or
60Hz) and a power consumption of less than
200W.
- Suitable for operation in an ambient temperature range of
-20ºC to +55ºC. for use in cold or humid conditions the beacon can be optionally be equipped
with a heating resistor.
- 2 versions available allowing respectively only one or three
brilliancy levels (100%, 10% or 3%)
- In case of 3 brilliancy levels, the control of the level will
be made manually (remote control voltage = 24Vdc) or automatically using an optional
photocell box.
- Its design allows for easy installation and maintenance
operations.
- Its small size allows for an installation close
the helipad.
