The F2-1
approach, F.A.T.O. edge, T.L.O.F. edge and taxiway edge elevated light is a omni
directional complying with ICAO recommendations with FAA, STANAG, CAP 168
and BS3224.
- The light is fitted with one E27 lamp of 100W for approach,
75W for F.A.T.O. and 60W for T.L.O.F. Lamp life greater than 2,000hrs.
- For TLOF edge and Low Intensity obstruction light, the fitting
can be equipped with LED having a lifetime greater than 50,000hrs.
- The optical system comprises of just an optical glass dome
with Fresnel prisms, clear or directly fully coloured. Its watertightness is obtained by using
a flat rubber gasket.
- The body is made of polyamide reinforced with glass fibre,
fully coloured in aviation yellow.
- The support tube is made of aluminium. All fixings and
fastenings are made of stainless steel.
- The power cable is protected by running through the
support.
- The fitting can be mounted at ground level (on long or short
frangible holding tube) or higher on pole or tiltable mast.
- High speed lamp replacement is possible by simply unscrewing
the glass dome.
- The overall height is 250mm with short frangible holding
tube or 340mm with long frangible holding tube. The weight does not exceed 1.5kg
