The ERG runway guard light and
taxiway holding position light is equipped with two elevated unidirectional high
intensity lights complying with ICAO recommendations in Annex 14, Volume I, paragraphs 5.3.22
and with FAA.
- The power is supplied by a 2.8A to 6.6A
primary loop circuit. Optionally there is a VAC version to be plugged on a parallel
circuit.
- The light is fitted with two 6.6A pre
focussed pk30d halogen lamp of 150W (or 45W for version usable only by night). Lamp life
greater than 1,000 hours at full intensity.

The
fixtures is designed to be fixed on all types of standard supports such as Tripod stands,
Conduit elbows or base plate using a special frangible
coupling.

All metallic
parts are made of aluminium alloy casting phosphated and powder coated in
aviation yellow or black by an electrostatic process. All fixings and fastenings are
stainless steel.

The protection is
IP54.

The total weight of the fitting is less than 16
kg.

On site maintenance is quick and simple by lamp replacement is
possible by simply opening the rear door.
